Who We Are
We’re you.
We’re your team.
We’re the collective emotional roller coaster that should probably be studied by NASA.
We ride the highs like we earned a championship ring ourselves.
We sink into the lows like the season personally wronged us.
We turn off the TV because maybe that helps.
We scream at the TV because maybe that helps more.
Some seasons collapse by Week 4.
Others disintegrate at the All-Star break.
But no matter how catastrophic, cursed, or clownish things get - we always come back.
To torture ourselves.
To believe again.
Or to pray for one miracle season before the universe reminds us who’s really in charge.
Most importantly, we’re a community.
When we win, we celebrate like it’s a parade AND a holiday.
When we lose, we grieve like a family who’s been through this exact pain a thousand times.
And if someone in our orbit -friend, coworker, cousin, we love only on paper- roots for a team, we despise?
We talk trash.
Endlessly.
Joyfully.
Recklessly.
Win or lose, we’re here for the chaos.
And we wear it proudly.
